The City of Boston's Participatory Budgeting Initiative

From January 15 to February 15, 2026, Boston residents can VOTE and decide on how $2.2 million in Participatory Budgeting funds will be invested in community-driven projects across the City. Selected projects are a one-time, non-recurring investment, and their implementation will start in the spring of 2026.

Voter Eligibility

I understand that to vote in Participatory Budgeting 2026, I must:

  • Be a City of Boston resident
  • Only vote one time
  • Be at least 11 years old (or at least in 6th grade)
